Pascoe Vale · Merri-bek
Ground floor · Second storey · Fixed price
Registered builder since 1993
Extensions · Pascoe Vale 3044
Pascoe Vale's bigger blocks make ground-floor extensions straightforward. Adding a new family room, a main bedroom with ensuite, or opening the back of the house to the garden are the most common requests. For smaller blocks, going up with a second storey keeps your backyard.
Pascoe Vale is mostly interwar and post-war homes, including brick veneer, weatherboard and some Californian bungalows, many on generous blocks that suit rebuilding or extending.
NMB Homes is a second-generation family builder based in Coburg North. We've been building in Melbourne's inner north and inner west since 1993, under fixed-price contracts, with Ninos personally involved in every job.
Local Knowledge
Many Pascoe Vale blocks have room to extend, rebuild, or in some cases build a second dwelling, subject to zoning and council approval.
Brick veneer and weatherboard homes from the 1940s to 60s are common. They're often ready for new wiring, plumbing and insulation.
We're based in neighbouring Coburg North, so Pascoe Vale is right on our doorstep.
What's Included
We manage your extension from the first consultation to handover, so you deal with one team, not a string of trades.
Extensions typically take between 6 weeks and 6 months on site, depending on size, and whether you're going out or up. We give you a detailed schedule at your consultation.

Questions
Almost all extensions need a building permit. Some also need a planning permit from Merri-bek City Council, for example where a heritage overlay applies or depending on your lot and zoning. We check your property's controls before quoting and manage the permits for you.
